First Fridays Special Artists’ Exhibit at Photographic Design

Prairie School seniors Luella Pias, Tevene Vartanian and Emma Weaver are special guests of Photographic Design Gallery & Framing, 411 Sixth St., on First Friday, May 2nd and throughout the month of May. These talented young artists will display their beautiful three-dimensional art which includes glass, ceramics and mixed media.

Luella has had a lifelong passion for the visual arts. Her work has been recognized with awards from the Racine Art Museum in earlier years and, more recently, she received a Scholastic Art Award for her glass and multimedia pieces. Tevene enjoys creating whimsical art including such pieces as bird and fruit bowls and animal-themed plates, each crafted with playful elegance and attention to form. Emma’s art usually has some connection to nature in the form of flowers or birds, with a special emphasis on flowers. Visitors will certainly enjoy meeting them and seeing their delightful creations.

Photographic Design Gallery & Framing is also pleased to welcome back talented young cellist, Nolan Boerner, who will entertain visitors with his beautiful music during the First Friday event.
