SUMMARY:First Fridays Special Artists' Exhibit at Photographic Design
DESCRIPTION:Prairie School seniors Luella Pias\, Tevene Vartanian and Emma Weaver are special guests of Photographic Design Gallery & Framing\, 411 Sixth St.\, on First Friday\, May 2nd and throughout the month of May. These talented young artists will display their beautiful three-dimensional art which includes glass\, ceramics and mixed media.  \nLuella has had a lifelong passion for the visual arts. Her work has been recognized with awards from the Racine Art Museum in earlier years and\, more recently\, she received a Scholastic Art Award for her glass and multimedia pieces. Tevene enjoys creating whimsical art including such pieces as bird and fruit bowls and animal-themed plates\, each crafted with playful elegance and attention to form. Emma’s art usually has some connection to nature in the form of flowers or birds\, with a special emphasis on flowers. Visitors will certainly enjoy meeting them and seeing their delightful creations. \nPhotographic Design Gallery & Framing is also pleased to welcome back talented young cellist\, Nolan Boerner\, who will entertain visitors with his beautiful music during the First Friday event. \nThe gallery is open 11-5 Fridays\, 11-9 First Fridays and 10-2 Saturdays.
