The Downtown Racine Corporation’s 3rd annual St. Paddy Pub Crawl will be Saturday, March 11 from 3pm-midnight. Embrace Irish traditions with good friends and fun times in beautiful Downtown Racine. The Downtown Racine St. Patrick’s Day Parade, presented by the Downtown Racine Corporation, CJW and Zeigler Honda of Racine returns on Saturday, March 18th. The parade will officially begin on the corner of State Street and Main Street at around noon. The route will proceed south on Main Street, turn west onto Sixth Street and end near City Hall. Racine Symphony Orchestra Masterworks Concert “Seven Last Words”
The central work on this program is Haydn’s meditative masterpiece The Seven Last Words of Christ. It is a sacred and profoundly spiritual work structured upon the seven last statements attributed to Jesus. It was the custom in Cadiz Spain in the 18th century to produce or commission an oratorio each year during Lent. The seven meditations are drawn from all four Gospels of the New Testament. First Fridays
The Downtown Racine Corporation’s First Friday is back beginning May 5 from 4pm-9pm. Shops will be open late; bars and restaurants will have live music and ALL merchants will be rolling out the red carpet to give you a VIP experience. Stay tuned for more details!
