Playwright Amy Hanson, from Racine, writes a gripping, emotionally charged family drama about the limits of forgiveness. In an ICU, two sisters and their mother confront dire news: the youngest, Piper, is on life support after an overdose. As the night unfolds, buried resentments, dark humor, and long held secrets surface. Part family drama, part meditation on what addiction does to relationships, The Good One explores the messy, the funny, the poignant, and the unexpected.
