Sherri Wistrom, First Friday Guest Artist

Photographic Design Gallery & Framing, 411 Sixth St., is delighted to welcome Sherri Wistrom, talented fiber artist, as its guest on First Friday, June 6th, with her exhibit co display through the end of June. First Friday hours are 4-9 p.m. with an artist’s reception beginning at 6 p.m.

Although her formal education led to a career as an oncology nurse, she always loved creating things. Sherri discovered the magic of applying vivid color to silk fabric and infusing wool into silk, both of which have become her focus in developing her beautiful fiber art pieces. The brilliance of color is what makes her wearables so unique.

Talented young cellist Nolan Boerner will also be featured on First Friday as he entertains visitors with his beautiful music.
