“Soup & Steins” An Oktoberfest-Themed Beer & Culinary Adventure
Prepare your taste buds for a journey through Downtown Racine as we proudly present the inaugural “Soup & Steins” event, an Oktoberfest-themed culinary celebration. Scheduled to take place throughout the heart of Racine, this festival invites locals and visitors alike to indulge in an epic exploration of soups and German-style beers on Saturday, Sept 28 from noon-5pm at 20 different walkable locations in historic & hip Downtown Racine
Event Highlights:
- Soup Sampling: Enjoy a variety of 10 delectable soup stops featuring classics like traditional chicken noodle and tomato basil, as well as adventurous flavors including Lambeau stew and beer & bacon.
- German Beer Tasting: Quench your thirst with 10 different German beer sampling stops. From the robust flavors of Hacker-Pschorr to the festive notes of Oktoberfest brews and the tangy twist of Berliner Weisse, there’s something to satisfy every palate.
- Authentic German Games: Participate in exciting traditional German games scattered throughout the event. Test your strength in the Masskrugstemmen (stein holding contest), showcase your speed in the brat eating contest, try your hand at Hammer-schlagen, and don your best lederhosen or dirndl for the Best German Attire competition.
- Includes a 12 oz glass beer mug AND a ticket for one full 12oz pour of any beer you like on the tour!
