For over 50 years, the Racine Arts Council has hosted the Monument Square Art Festival the first weekend in June, one of the “Hot Spots” to be in the summertime. The MSAF is the oldest juried fine art fair in Wisconsin and features talented artists from Racine and the Upper Midwest. This year the MSAF is June 13 – 14th and features 55 – 65 area artists selling pottery, jewelry, paintings, yard art, sculpture and more. Local brewhouse Racine Brewing Co. will provide craft beer and soda in a small biergARTen. Performing on our entertainment stage will be a Grimm Dulcimer Group, Jamey, Buencamino, classical guitarist and folk musicians Mark Paffrath and Bob Treml.. Added this year will be an 8’ x 8’ painted wooden quilt pattern designed by local artist, Libby Cameron which will be hung on the Racine County Pony Club barn in late summer.
