Groov’n in the Garden

RAM is pleased to collaborate with Mahogany Gallery, a Racine-based fine art gallery dedicated to educating, exhibiting, and exploring the work of artists of color, to present an outdoor live music performance on the grounds of RAM’s Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts. The evening will offer an infusion of NeoSoul, R+B, a dose of funk, and more, featuring a curated collection of local musicians.
Opening the night of musical entertainment is local DJ duo Fly vs Fly, spinning tunes for the first hour and a half of the event. Following the DJs is groovy supergroup the VersaTile Band , comprised of exceptional musicians from established regional acts playing alongside guest artists.
The grounds open at 5:00 pm and visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner or order carryout from a local vendor to enjoy in Wustum’s gorgeous gardens. Mahogany Gallery and RAM are partnering with Racine restaurants Chit Chaat, Dragon Pit BBQ, Market on Main, SapSap, and TaeJa Vu’s on Main to offer delectable meal kits specifically for Groov’n in the Garden, which can be ordered ahead of time and picked up at the respective restaurants on the night of the event. Craft beer, wine, and a signature cocktail will also be available to purchase from a cash bar at Wustum.
