DESCRIPTION:Choral Arts Society Announces Auditions for Fall 2025  \n(Racine\, Wisconsin\, July 21\, 2025) The Choral Arts Society of Southeastern Wisconsin (CAS) invites adult singers to audition for its 2025-2026 season by appointment on Tuesday\, August 19\, 2025\, from 6:30PM to 9:30PM at First Presbyterian Church\, 716 College Avenue\, Racine. If you would like to sing great music with friendly people\, please contact David Eaton\, CAS Audition Coordinator Team\, at (262) 939-6930 to schedule an appointment.   \nRehearsals are held at First Presbyterian Church on Tuesday evenings from 7:00p.m. to 9:30p.m. from late August through May.  \nAuditions include warm-ups and vocalizing to determine voice range and timbre\, a sight-reading exercise and/or literature reading\, and one brief solo to be prepared in advance. Please provide a copy of your solo for the accompanist. Please visit www.choralartsonline.org or contact the CAS at admin@cassewi.org or (262) 634-3250 for more information on the Choral Arts Society.  \nThe Choral Arts Society is a volunteer community chorus of 60 singers. This season’s concert programs will include Gospel Fusion on Saturday\, October 18\, 2025 at 7PM\, A Candlelight Concert in collaboration with Music & More on Saturday\, December 6\, 2025 at 7PM\, and Fantasia! on Saturday\, April 18\, 2026 at 7PM.  \nThe Choral Arts Society celebrates the human spirit through choral music. In an atmosphere of fellowship and collaboration\, the CAS fosters creative talents of musicians and composers. The CAS partners with others who share our passion for artistic excellence.  \nThis season is funded in part by a grant from the Racine Community Foundation\, a grant from the Racine Arts Council’s ArtSeed Grant Program funded by the Racine Arts Council and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin\, and a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
