Irish Comedy Tour Features Comedy Central Comedian
They're Irish, they're American, and they're not holding back!
Thursday, March 11 -- 7:15 p.m.
Memorial Hall in Downtown Racine
$10 Advance Tickets; $12 At The Door
The Irish Comedy Tour invades Racine Civic Centre's Memorial Hall on Thursday, March 11 bringing with them the party atmosphere of a Dublin pub.
The comedians, whose ancestors hail from the Emerald Isle, include Derek Richards, Mike McCarthy and Jim Paquette. Audiences howl at Richards' tales about his mom's dog, the holidays and dating a stripper. He has appeared on the Bob & Tom show, XM and Sirius Radio and the Weather Channel's Top 10. McCarthy's no-holds-barred humor has landed him on Comedy Central and Showtime. The "Comedy Barbarian", as he calls himself, takes no prisoners when it comes to poking fun at society's most sensitive topics. Finally, Paquette, who has fine-tuned his comedy chops across the country as a dueling piano performer, opens the show with classic Irish drinking tunes and riotous original songs that inspire audiences to clap along (even if it means briefly putting down their drinks).
This event will kick off the St. Patrick's Day weekend in Downtown Racine. The fun begins at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 11 at Memorial Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. This event is for mature audiences only.
Tickets are available at the Festival Hall box office or Ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. For more information, call the Racine Civic Centre at 262-636-9229.
